Our musician clients have performed at legendary venues and festivals such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Glastonbury, Download, Tomorrowland. Our Hollywood clients have worked on films such as Mulan, 8 Mile, X-Men, and the Jason Bourne series. We represent artists from 20+ countries and have office locations in New York, Los Angeles, and London.

About the Role
As a Tax Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our clients’ success by helping them remain compliant with tax authorities and governments. You’ll make a positive impact by helping artists reduce their anxiety over taxes and keeping them organised so that they can focus on creating, entertaining, and shaping the world.
This is not your typical Tax Associate opportunity. You will be a crucial member of the team. In return, we offer an excellent training program and study support towards either the ACCA or AAT/CTA qualification.
What Your Day to Day Will Look Like
- Correspond with clients to discuss, explain, and advise on tax-related matters
- Review, identify, and obtain information that is needed to prepare statutory financial statements and income tax filings
- Assist with preparing income tax returns and statutory financial statements
- Correspond with the tax authorities when required
- Quarterback any payroll processing and payroll tax issues that may arise
- Assist clients with making their tax payments or enrolling in payment plans
- Assist with onboarding new clients by helping to clean up messy tax affairs
- Assist in the development of systems and processes in the tax department
- Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of all tax tasks related to our clients
What You Need to Succeed
- You are exceptionally detail-oriented and organized
- You have 2+ years of accounts and tax preparation experience
- You can deliver spectacular customer service
- You have experience preparing and filing accounts and income tax returns
- You can meet tight deadlines
- You are tech-savvy
- You are a problem solver
- You are a clear communicator and are easily able to explain difficult concepts
- You can and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- You have experience using cloud accounting software (Xero, QBO, etc.)

Our Recruitment Process
If your profile meets our requirements, you will be invited to a three-stage interview process where we will learn about your experiences and assess our cultural fit. It is also a unique and fun experience for you to learn about ICONAC and picture your future career working side-by-side with famous artists and innovative accounting professionals.
- Video introduction: 3-5 introductory question prompts will be given, and you can record your answer in any video formats with a limit of 5 mins.
- Zoom interview: You will be interviewed by your manager and ICONAC COO. The interview takes 45 mins, and you will be asked mainly on Fit and Behavioral Questions.
- Skill test: Finally, you will be invited to complete online tests for us to gain a better understanding of your personality, accounting, and problem-solving skills. You will be paid for your time doing the tests.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any form of visa sponsorship, so candidates must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa and be eligible to take up full-time, permanent employment.
EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
