The Tandoori Chef ensures the timely delivery of items ordered.REPORTS TO: Head ChefOVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDUTIES:Ensure all food storage and product rotation maximize the potential profit of the productEnsure all product preparation is completed to standard to ensure recipe potential is achievedEnsure all working utensils and equipment are maintained to maximize life span to operate to full capacityCommunicating any significant stock availability issues to the teamReceiving daily produce deliveries and checking quality (including weights and temperature)Ensure ticket timings and dish presentation managementEnsure product consistencyMaintaining cleanliness, safety and organization of the kitchenAlways presenting self in perfect uniform and correct shift start timeCompleting quality preparation of all duties to clean, set up, handover and close kitchen to standardHUMAN RESOURCES, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:Health and Safety adherence including risk assessment and equipment maintenance (internal)Maintaining skills and product knowledge as trainedREPORTING AND RESPONSIBILITY:Adhere to all company rules, regulations and proceduresEnsure all health and safety requirements are adhered toCommunicates any potential problems to the duty manager and senior chefPerform any reasonable task as directed by managers and area managersOperates best practices to reduce wastageTakes responsibility for stock rotation and par level managementBASICS:Turn up on time – HB staff are always ready for their shift 5 minutes early, dressed and full of enthusiasmHave fun – You spend too much time at work not to enjoy itWork hard – the more you put into something the more you get outJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Chef: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
