Front of House – Receptionist – Oxford Circus – Contemporary Offices – £30,000 - £35,000 – based on experience
A fresh and exciting position for a bubbly, warm and experience Receptionist within a close-knit private family office as a Front of House Specialist who has come from an investment or 5* hospitality background.
In the tandem reception position you will be situated in a stunning, modern, and airy building and based in a small to medium-sized friendly and highly communication, team focussed office where you will work closely with a super supportive and outgoing Office Manager. The business is well established and successful and seeks out courteous, hands-on and friendly staff and looks for this attitude in their receptionist. As the receptionist, you will be able to hit the ground running and relish working with demanding and high-performance achievers where you will support them in all their front-of-house and reception needs. You will be adept at welcoming key stakeholders and having the ability to build instant and professional relationships with repeat guests and visitors. You will be confident and calm at dealing with multiple tasks in one go and always with a smile.
Hours 8.30 am - 6.00 pm – Monday - Friday
Key daily tasks include plus overflow and ad hoc jobs:

As the receptionist, you will be beautifully presented and well-organised, making it their specialising to notice and execute the finer details of maintaining a reception. The well-versed receptionist will be Outlook literate and technology savvy. Have 1st class-polished communication skills and be gracious, friendly, and polite with impeccable dress and styling. The successful applicant will have the willingness to learn an in-house style and a genuine passion for helping and welcoming others with minimal supervision in the front of the house.

- The meeting, greeting and welcoming co-workers, visitors, and VIP guests
- Notifying, escorting, and providing refreshments and light catering to meeting attendees
- Updating, logging, and reviewing visitor security and signing process
- Managing a high-volume reception enquiry inbox
- Maintaining an Outlook-based booking system for reserving meeting rooms, organising and booking catering needs efficiently and with advanced skills
- Jointly taking ownership of the whole of the reception, meeting rooms, lobby and kitchen areas with extremely careful presentation and prompt cleanliness
- Order, stocking, tidying, and maintaining kitchen supplies, stacking, and unstacking the dishwasher
- Managing a busy switchboard with a professional, helpful clear voice whilst gatekeeping for the senior team and the office manager
- Keeping the office members hydrated and the meeting rooms stocked with water
- Conducting a weekly Waitrose shop and ordering and maintaining the stationery
- Booking cabs, chauffeurs, and couriers and organising incoming and outgoing mail
- Constantly reviewing the best practice of reception, and what welcome could be done better
- Taking coats willingly and elegantly
- Creating and updating the reception bible
