The role of the Talent & HR Officer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a proactive and effective HR service to managers and colleagues across all functions of Blue Array. They will provide advice and guidance in areas such as employee relations and HR policies and procedures

To provide professional advice and guidance on HR matters in line with up-to-date employment legislation, Blue Array policies and core values, including recruitment and selection, equality and diversity issues and, leave and absence management, liaising closely with and taking guidance from our Talent & HR Manager
What will the role of the Talent & HR Officer involve?
- Provide advice, recommendations, and resolutions to ensure hands-on support, guidance and high-quality service on all day-to-day employee relations matters.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information on the HRIS including change of address, bank details, departments, promotion details, salary
- Manage the @people mailbox in a timely manner offering frontline support.
- Assist the Talent & HR Manager with departmental HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- In conjunction with the Talent & HR Manager. define, develop, and maintain concise documentation for procedures, work processes and reports.
- Supporting the Talent & HR Manager to implement and maintain the policies and procedures that reflect best practice and that are compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
- Assist in answering payroll queries by the finance team or employees
- Ensuring meticulous implementation of salary information, bonus, deductions and benefits administration on the Head Count Report.
Recruitment
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process on all SEO roles.
- Supporting the Talent & HR Manager in preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process on all other department roles within the company.
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out
- Employment contracts and variations
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree of Human Resources Management or equivalent and/or holding a level 3 CIPD qualification, or working towards
- Have experience delivering first line advice to line managers regarding Employee Relation matters
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a HR related role
- Experience working with remote teams and/or distributed workforces is a plus
Skills, Abilities & Attributes
- Are excellent communicators and relationship builders with a passion for delivery
- Experience using HR software is desirable
- Be IT literate including working with Word, Power point, Excel etc. Experience using the Google Stack advantageous.
- Have up to date working knowledge of employment legislation
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Have excellent business partnering skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Mental Health First Aider qualification would be advantageous
