We are currently recruiting for a Talent & Development Manager to join the Talent team!

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. What do the key responsibilities in this role include?

  • To provide the business with strategic Talent, L&D and Resourcing support, enabling the achievement of the overall business plan
  • To develop and deliver effective Talent and L&D strategies
  • To support processes to enable growth goals and to ensure the desired workforce profile for now and in the future
  • To design and implement best in class development programmes, practices, tools and processes aligned with the business plan
  • To ensure that Corporate DP DHL guidelines and policies are adhered to and applied to Divisional Talent, L&D and Resourcing activities
  • To work with internal and external stakeholders to build awareness of the business needs, align this to the talent agenda and be an advocate for delivery excellence of our core programs and activities
  • Provide input, influence and manage the talent and development opportunities to deliver excellence across the UKI business ensuring the business has the right people with the right skills where needed
  • You will be key in supporting the growth of the business by partnering with internal stakeholders to provide advice, coaching and guidance on the people aspects of business plans
  • To identify pockets of best practice within the business that can be extrapolated to a wider audience

  • You will have strong communication and analytical skills and be confident at influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Cross functional experience working within a large complex matrix environment
  • Proven competency to design and deliver learning and development interventions
  • The ability to build a strong and effective internal network of contacts
  • To be highly motivated, passionate and an active listener
  • Solid presentation, facilitation & training delivery skills
  • The ability to identify key issues and strong decision making capability
  • A practical and methodical approach to large scale program deployment
  • P&L literate with strong sense of cost management
  • Knowledge of adult learning and development techniques
  • The ability to achieve results in sensitive and ambiguous situations
  • Graduate degree (or equivalent) desirable
  • CIPD - Learning & Development (or equivalent) qualification desirable
  • Behavioral profile experience desirable
