Job Summary

It’s great to know you’re making a difference to the future of aviation! As a Talent Acquisition Specialist (FTC) you’ll play your part in helping us deliver operational excellence to our customers.
Reporting into the Director of Talent Acquisition – Civil Business Line you’ll support our Global Technology Centre in Bristol and will be part of a wider global team that support our Civil Business Line. The role is hybrid, with a mix of home working, onsite working at Bristol and also visiting our Head Office in Solihull for team meetings as required.


The Talent Acquisition team are responsible for a diverse range of roles from regional roles and site engineering roles to early careers (Internships, Graduates and Apprenticeships) across both volume and specialist support. We work in partnership with Hiring Managers to outline role briefs, timelines, talent availability and carry out sourcing activity to deliver an inclusive and diverse talent pool through ownership of the end to end recruitment journey.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist primarily you’ll ensure the very best recruitment service is delivered to candidates, stakeholders and our sites. We also have a number of interesting projects to gain experience from.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver the very best candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment journey as a brand advocate
  • Build strong partnerships with onsite stakeholders and HR
  • Support with implementing global recruitment process
  • Drive pace, efficiency and consistency throughout the recruitment journey to impact time to hire
  • Conduct vacancy launch calls with Hiring Managers to aid the accurate and very best attraction of talent in the market place and to advise on best attraction and selection methods
  • Create compelling job advertisements in line with brand guidelines and vacancy launch specification
  • Use attraction methodologies to conduct sourcing activities to support direct sourcing strategy
  • Screen and schedule interviews delivering an inclusive and diverse candidate pool
  • Build talent pools to support future recruitment activity
  • Use Success Factors ATS to manage the recruitment of allocated vacancy activity
  • Work with agencies when required, facilitating briefing calls and agency portal management
  • Co-ordinate the offer process for successful candidates
  • Take part in weekly update calls to ensure alignment of vacancy activity and future requirements
  • Support others with queries when required
  • Support with key projects within the Talent Acquisition space

Essential:

  • Significant experience gained from an in-house Talent Acquisition role
  • Experience of using applicant tracking systems
  • Experience of owning the recruitment journey from briefing call through to offer for an allocated business area/function
  • Experience of writing creative and compelling job advertisements inline with brand guidelines
  • Experience of direct sourcing methods and attraction methodologies to source talent
  • Experience of recruiting technical/engineering roles


Desirable:

  • Experience of using Success Factors to support the recruitment journey from requisition approval to offer
  • Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation
  • Experience recruiting in Aerospace industry
