Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 - with hybrid working
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Role summary:
This role is responsible for partnering with managers and Business Partners to deliver excellence and consistency in sourcing and attracting the very best talent for Mitsubishi Electric UK. You will contribute to our overall aims of:
- Through attracting great talent to MEU-UK, create a sustainable organization positioned for growth
- Ensuring the provision of an excellent candidate experience
- Creating a diverse, inclusive, collaborative and customer-centric culture
- Building a great, personalized candidate experience built on fit for purpose processes and technology
Skills/Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Experience of talent attraction and recruitment methodologies and sound understanding of the recruitment life cycle
- Digitally savvy and experienced in pro-active and direct candidate sourcing using a variety of channels, tools and methods
- Demonstrable experience of competency based interviewing and shortlisting candidates
- Computer literate – Experience of using an Applicant Tracking Systems and good working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office packages
- Up to date knowledge of emerging trends and best practice in talent attraction and selection and UK Employment Law and Practice, specifically in relation to talent acquisition and resourcing
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written) and adaptive in style to meet the needs of different candidates and colleagues
- High appreciation of dealing with sensitive / confidential information and GDPR legislation
- Resilient, highly collaborative in approach, solutions orientated, flexible and open and willing to try new things and support other members of the team when required.
- Self-aware, open to feedback and with a strong commitment to personal and professional development
