Overview of the Role
The Talent Acquisition Resourcer will support members of the European Talent Acquisition team on key vacancies. The purpose of this role is to assist and support our Talent Acquisition Directors with effective and timely assignment delivery across the lines of business where financial/analytical acumen and training is required. The role will be based in our London office, but due to the significant growth of our firm it is likely that this person will ultimately conduct recruitment assignments across the European geographies.
As Talent Acquisition demand is very dynamic in terms of requirements, it is essential that the successful hire is capable of a 'can do' approach when tasked with duties associated with a variety of business lines from time to time.
Key accountabilities
- Support/facilitation of the entire recruitment cycle from initial briefing to advert writing, candidate identification, headhunting, screening, interviews and offer
- Conduct research into target organizations (predominantly the 'Big 4' - KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, EY and other specialist firms) and industry sectors
- Identify candidates across competitors for specialist senior and junior roles. Approach suitable candidates and qualify against agreed competencies and criteria for each vacancy
- Assist Managers in drafting advertisements and screening ad responses
- Build relationships to gain candidate referrals from senior individuals (internal and external)
- Communicate and update candidates during assignments
- Maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of all available candidate identification tools (LinkedIn, social media, company websites) as well as proactive networking for additional candidate leads
- Capture and maintain accurate market and candidate information on Alvarez & Marsal's internal knowledge systems (Workday & Jobvite)
- Produce accurate and timely reports in preparation for update meetings, progress updates etc.
Skills & Experience
- A strong academic record
- Demonstrable recruitment experience (consultancy or in-house)
- Strong resourcing skills (LinkedIn, Social Media and other networks)
- Track record of recruitment innovation and creativity
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information at maximum discretion
- Excellent English (knowledge of additional European languages a strong asset)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize projects and deliverables
- Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency in an internal HRIS system such as Workday is a significant plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team
