Talent Acquisition Coverage Partner London, England
Job description
Talent Acquisition Coverage Partner 12month Fixed Term Contract
London
As a Barclays Talent Acquisition (TA) Coverage Partner, you will be accountable for building and overseeing delivery of a coherent Talent Acquisition strategy for the Barclays UK (BUK) business areas. You will collaborate and lead through others including the TA sub-services (such as Executive Hiring and Programmatic Hiring) and other HR transaction cycles to effectively ensure delivery of a great candidate, hiring manager and stakeholder experience.
Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, with 329 years of success, quality, and innovation behind us. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.
What will you be doing?
- Building an in-depth knowledge of current and future talent requirements of the business through close working relationships with senior business leaders and HR colleagues
- Partnering with the relevant sub-service to design, develop and oversee appropriate delivery of a TA strategy, using data insights of both the internal and external market
- Collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to comprehend operational aspects of their business coverage areas, from workforce planning through to operational practises
- Utilising labour market trends and insights to drive the sourcing & hiring channel strategy; adjusting hiring initiatives to ensure the delivery model achieves business outcomes
- Leading and shaping key projects which facilitate delivery of the Barclays People and Talent Acquisition strategy providing expert knowledge and understanding of the current market
- Influencing, shaping and promoting “best practice”, champion diversity & inclusion and develop strategy and tactics to establish Barclays as an employer of choice
- Acting as a single point of escalation for named client groups and HR Directors
- Talent Acquisition subject matter expertise with a breadth of experience in a variety of hiring channels
- Experience in high volume/early careers recruitment, or similar
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Experience in leveraging MI and data effectively, and providing actionable insight
- Familiarity with diversity, equity & inclusion best practices in hiring
- Good understanding of social media campaigns and marketing
- Background in client demand/demand forecasting
- In-house/RPO experience
Where will you be working?
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
