We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our in-house Volume Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Acquisition Consultant. This role is a great opportunity for someone who shares our passion to deliver exceptional recruitment support for Contact Centre Managers to ensure the best internal and external talent is hired.
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering the functional end to end volume and non-volume recruitment and selection strategy for Currys Contact Centres across 5 locations in the UK (Loughborough, Poole, Preston, Sheffield & Warrington)
- The effective delivery of the entire candidate journey from application through to start date
- Writing and advertising vacancies, ensuring that job posting is accurate and stands out from the crowd
- Reviewing and screening candidate applications and completing initial telephone screenings
- Coordinating assessment bookings with candidates and assessors
- Offering, onboarding and supporting candidates through their pre-employment checks to ensure a seamless onboarding journey
- Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Attending open days and recruitment talent fairs to engage future talent and promote company brand
- Proactively sourcing candidates when application levels are limited by utilising tools such as LinkedIn and CV databases to find the best talent in an increasingly competitive talent landscape
You will need:
- To be adaptable with excellent organisational skills - this is a busy role so you’ll need experience of managing changing priorities
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels, providing a consultative service and challenging where appropriate
- Recruitment experience ideally in a complex and dynamic operating environment
- Experience of working in a contact centre environment or similar would be an advantage
