The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Tailor that will report to the Wardrobe supervisor within the laundry department. This role is a fundamental position that offers high levels of service to our guests, residents, and colleagues. Focusing on the well-fitted uniforms for our colleagues to ensure everyone looks, and feels professional, and are a great ambassador. The other area of responsibility is to deliver all internal and external tailoring services for our guests.

Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate all tailoring work in the laundry and consult with uniform suppliers to ensure ultimate comfort and well-fitted uniforms for staff and guests.
- To follow up on all job orders pertaining to product, process, colleagues, guests, and residents’ uniforms/clothing.
- Keep control of all uniforms, accessories, operating supplies purchase requisitions, guest supplies, and their distribution. Source all invoices in a timely manner.
- Assist in monthly inventory of uniforms, machines, operating supplies, accessories, uniform attic stock, and controls store of the department.
General Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of hotel operations through a similar position, ideally to have at least 2 years in a luxury hotel.
- Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service with exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
