About the Tablet Press and Blending Operator Role.
Within this role for the business, you will be responsible for the blending of raw materials and tablet press operations. Working as part of a team you will be working toward production goals in line with pre-determined quality standards.
Working hours are across a 2 shift system 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 monday-friday.
Key tasks
· Operation/minding of our 5 pharmaceutical grade tablet presses.
· Blending and mixing of the dry raw material to meet pressing demands.
· Working to defined quality control parameters at BRCCGS standards
· Housekeeping and maintenance within defined schedules.
· Reported to the department supervisor and assisting in achieving production goals in line with customer demands.
About You
This role could suit an existing machine minder with a level of mechanical knowledge. Training will be provided for our specialist equipment.
- Experience of working on machines is ESSENTIAL
· Experience of working in a food production environment would be preferential.
· A decent level of mechanical understanding will be required.
· Experience of tablet press operation would be advantageous.
Salary £22,880 to £24960 dependant upon experience.
Overtime pay: £16.50 per hour after 40 hours and Saturdays, £22.00 per hour Sundays and Bank holidays.
