Description : IT Systems Support Engineer, based in Leatherhead, Surrey The role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems or IT Support Engineer to join our friendly team located in Leatherhead, Surrey. In the role of IT Systems Support Engineer some of your duties will include: Maintain all IT systems within our Leatherhead site (approx. 100 users, across 2 buildings) to a high standard; this includes desktops, laptops, switches, printers Support and train users in their use of all company systems Minimise downtime of company systems Work with lab staff to resolve laboratory equipment computer problems Provide a comprehensive and timely support service to all Smithers users in the UK Monitor and maintain tickets on global Smithers IT Helpdesk Assist with the support and enhancement of our CRM system, Dynamics Supporting the global IT team in the implementation of cyber security measures Administer user accounts and mailboxes in a hybrid working environment. Employee assistance program Ride to work scheme Service awards Life assurance Pension – up to 5% employer match The person In the IT Systems Support Engineer role we require the following skills and experience: You will need experience in a similar support role Ideally you will be educated to degree level, but this is not essential It will be advantageous if you have worked with MS Dynamics or Kentico EMS Experience in supporting cloud based applications such as Azure/O365 and Microsoft Endpoint Manager is also desirable Ideally you will have experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy You must be a self starter and have the ability to manage your own time.
