About this role:
It's an exciting time for procurement at Just Eat Takeaway.com. As our business grows, so does our investment in this increasingly important function. As a Technology company we believe in the power of system-based tools, but we also know the importance of great people and processes to get the best from them.
Operating globally in a fast -paced dynamic environment, you will apply procurement system and process knowledge , to enable the procurement team to flow through sourcing and supplier management, enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness. Your communication and change management skills will be as important as procurement tech passion, to mobilise and motivate the user base and vendors to get the best from our system investments.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Understanding of Procurement, Finance and , Legal and Procurement processes
- Process design and improvements for optimising system-based policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Procurement system suites covering Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Procure to Pay, Project Management, Supplier Performance, Risk, Sustainability, Spend and Savings analytics
- Presentation and communicating information, including reporting and analysis on KPIs associated with procurement operations (e.g. sourcing strategies, contract coverage, Requisition to PO times, right first time % etc.
- Planning and organising skills for self, projects that you participate in and colleagues around you required to contribute to your improvement initiatives.
- Influencing, persuasion, handling objections and resolving conflicts with stakeholders and colleagues, involving listening and openness to diversity of opinion
- Results-focussed and action-oriented mindset to really deliver success
- Self-starter and motivator who can act on own initiative for problem solving and ideas generation
- Team player - working within Procurement and with Finance and in a matrix environment
- A growth mindset - appetite for personal learning and for profitable business growth
What will you bring to the table?
- Be our resident expert in Procurement-related systems such as: Category Management, Sourcing (eRFxs and eAuctions), Onboarding, Vendor Management & SRM, Contract Management, Procurement Project Management,
- Ensure system configuration and processes aid our compliance to effective controls, efficient operations and effective outcomes for our Procurement KPIs
- Periodically review and update documentation for users, in process and user-guides, to continuously improve the process performance with system and process revisions
- Train users and agree training and knowledge transfer strategy with Procurement Director, with the help of budget support and HR’s change management, internal comms and learning & development teams
