The System Engineer is an entry level engineering position that will be part of a multidisciplinary systems design team. Team performs complete system level product development, including embedded command and control, RF, and power systems. This position will allow the individual to expand their skills as they provide crucial support to the design, development, and manufacturing of systems for use in commercial and military and aerospace products.
Duties:
The individual will provide day to day support for production systems and assist production technicians with evaluating units. Support will include the debugging of RF and power systems and associated embedded hardware. Engineer will analyze system block diagrams and produce related acceptance test procedures. Engineer will work with systems design team to create users’ manuals and other customer facing documentation. Engineer will write test automation routines in common languages such as LabVIEW or Python.
Requirements:
4-year degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Skills(preferred):
Familiarity with a programming language such as Python, LabVIEW, C# or equivalent.
Interest in systems engineering and RF or power distribution systems.
Familiarity with lab hardware such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, etc.
Familiarity with basic computer systems and business software.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and block diagrams.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineering team, operations, and customers.
