Job Duties
Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing data processing systems directly and as project leader. Characteristic duties: analyzes new requirements, preparing functional specifications for application programs, testing, evaluating results for accuracy, timeliness, and integrative features, preparing documentation and conducting feasibility studies; develops complex program code; develops specifications for procurement of hardware and software; provides technical assistance to users and other OIM staff. May supervise professional and support staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of complex data systems management; relational database design and maintenance; quality assurance techniques; and change management procedures
- Strong design, development, troubleshooting, and oral and written communication skills
- Experience developing and/or managing true web applications using Oracle Database 11g or higher, Oracle APEX 21.2 or higher; PL/SQL programming; using Oracle Database (19c), SQL; experience with DevOps; Agile methodology and CI/CD pipeline; experience with Android/iOS mobile application development; experience with Apache FOP reports; and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of software package installation; change management; Oracle WebLogic Application Server; testing; and using object-oriented design concepts, J2EE, Android Studio, iOS Swift, XML, HTML, web scripting tools and Gitlab
- Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously; assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes; perform as a technical and team leader; monitor progress of team members; assign work; test applications and evaluate results for accuracy and integrative features; prepare documentation; and implement and support data processing systems
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies; analyze new requirements; prepare functional and system specifications for application programmers; develop data models and system designs; develop complex program code
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree with major study in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience and training
- Experience in the health care industry
