Job description

WS HomeDel have a fantastic opportunity for a System Administrator to join our team in Redditch to work along side our Warehouse Team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the warehouse operations, meeting the requirements of our valued customers in a cost-effective manner. This includes accurately completing all necessary administrative processes. Moreover, you will provide valuable administrative support to other departments within the business, contributing to their overall success.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Administrative support to the Shift Manager
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
  • Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
  • Organise all pick tasks on WMS for the daily operation.
  • Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
  • Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Respond to telephone and email queries in a professional timely manner, pass messages to relevant personnel
  • Keep Line Manager informed of any irregularities.
  • Ensure that all Warehouse queries are handled in an efficient and consistent manner, in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Liaise with customers, drivers and other departments.
  • Supporting the wider team
  • Filing, Photocopying, Scanning
  • To ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, Company policies and procedures and best practice.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Office Word/Excel/Outlook/WMS
  • Demonstrate proven administrative experience
  • Experience of working within a warehouse office environment
  • Good local and national geographical knowledge
  • Experience of routing desirable but not essential
  • Organised with a methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to consistently follow set company procedures
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Effective communicator oral and written
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Able to work from own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Motivated, Pro-active and reliable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:
