This permanent work from home position is open to candidates currently residing in Canada with valid work authorization.
About The Role:
The IT System Administrator and Tech Support Lead oversees InnovMarine’s network and computer infrastructure and works with our external IT partners to ensure our system meets our security needs and our growth. This position provides support to all employees to ensure their systems are functioning properly and effectively. This role also oversees the delivery of tech support services to external clients for software sold by InnovMarine.
Responsibilities:
Internal Customer Service Excellence
· Act as the main point of contact for all IT related needs
Monitor and maintain workstations/servers’ capacity
· Maintain efficient operation of company network assets, including web based
and distributed assets.
· Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
· Provide project coordination for special projects
· Organize, document, and monitor SharePoint filling and version control
· Manage IT equipment (including equipment inventories, coordinate repairs
and order new equipment as needed)
· Onboard and Offboard new employee/user accounts
· Monitor internal software licences and renewals
· Develop and document processes
· Keep up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
Managing Key External Relationships
· Manage our external IT vendor
· Follow & escalate ongoing service requests with our external partners
Employee Engagement/Leadership
· Build, lead and deploy the best team possible to achieve InnovMarine’s
strategic objectives.
· Develop a performance culture through a robust performance management
process with all employees having regular feedback and specific
development plans.
· Develop a team culture of ‘employer of choice’ to attract, retain and motivate
- the best team possible.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365
environment
· Proven track record in developing and
maintaining a digital filing system
· Excellent English communication skills
(bilingualism is an asset)
· Exceptional autonomy, organizational, and
time management skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

skills

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $82,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
