- A Bachelor degree in computer science / engineering or degree with substantial computing component
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, TypeScript, Rust, Ruby
- Familiarity with modern software design patterns, common software data structures and algorithms
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)

As a member of our team, you'll tackle intricate technical challenges, craft innovative solutions at global scale and collaborate with experienced engineers.
Your role will be pivotal in the design, development, and deployment of a diverse array of end-user projects. From optimizing warehouse services and tooling that change the way products flow through our facilities to creating European-wide optimization tools that redefine product movement between various Amazon entities (Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, or Delivery Stations), your impact will be tangible. You'll contribute to build predictive and prescriptive products that directly enhance the speed and quality of package delivery to our customers, using sophisticated algorithms and/or AI.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions for a variety of projects deployed and used in Amazon warehouses worldwide.
- Interact with multiple teams and stakeholders to build a solution that integrates with various external data sources and services.
