The Role
Our Technology department goal is to support the global business by providing the right systems, right data and technology infrastructure to enable our people to do their jobs. We’re looking for a Systems Analyst to work closely with and support the business users ensuring systems and processes are optimized and aligned to strategic objectives.
You will support the Value Chain Technologies team with understanding and delivering change requirements and solutions. The Value Chain Technology team supports systems supporting Design, Plan, Buy, Allocate/ for both our own retail as well as B2B.
You Will
Define & prioritize user requirements, in partnership with Business Analysts, Technology peers, Business Stakeholders and Suppliers. Articulate the system, data and process change, Facilitate prioritization (importance, urgency, effort) against existing resources
Problem Analysis & triage, investigate root causes and resolve system issues in a timely manner (whether system, data, process). Assist with operational data analysis and reporting
Monitor & manage interfaces and key system processes, in partnership with Tech Ops and 3rd parties, address & log issues proactively. Monitor system performance based on key KPIs, develop quarterly review dashboard
Drawing Specifications, document & maintain change specifications of supporting systems (system designs, data requirements, testing requirements, options for architectural review, release management data, change control log, training etc.)
System Design & Evaluation, ensure that fixes or new functionality is build in accordance to our enterprise architecture guidelines. Collaborate with technology peers to outline design options with pro/cons. Test the performance of the system to ensure that it meets the required performance as specified.
Champion security, compliance & simplification whether for BAU (Business As Usual) or Projects
Keep up to date with technology advancements and Product Roadmaps of systems we support. Seek out opportunities to automate business processes.
You Are
A strong communicator, able to work with varying departments in the organization, both in business and within technology, as well as with 3rd party vendors.
Able to work through root causes of problems and encourage partnership in resolution.
Experienced in documentation and proposals
A critical thinker, methodical and organised with problem analysis, system development, testing expectations & project implementation. Able to see the 'big-picture’ and consequences,
Business process minded, have a good understanding of all relevant business processes, how technology supports, what data is used and how to measure success.
An effective collaborator, able to build relationships, breaks down silos and solve problems cross-functionally and cross-disciplines (system, data, process)
Technically savvy, with strong technical knowledge like programming languages, information technology infrastructure, and database administration. Key focus of support will be Wholesale & Franchise Management system & reporting (supporting sales & distribution, purchasing capabilities) and up/down stream connectivity to PLM, Merchandising, warehousing, B2B commerce and finance systems.
A person who enjoys optimisation & automation, able to look for opportunities to simplify manual ways of working.
Resilient, able to work under varying degrees of pressure, keep moving the ball forward.
Self-driven, self-motivated and curious.
