We at Optimal are now supporting our fabulous client in their search for a System Administrator to join an expanding team based in Halifax, who specialise in Live Events Technology. This role will involve taking all the data/information received by the Customer Onboarding Executive and using it to build events in their app and update new versions for the client in the app stores.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the management of event assets and data, ensuring it is to the correct format, liasing with the COE when its not and storing the content in the appropriate system securely
- Be the primary user of the back end system where data is entered
- Perform maintenance on existing events and remove/add content as per the client agreement or wishes
- Constantly look for ways to rationalise and optimise the data held in the system to maximise performance
- Identify process inefficiencies and look to resolve these with the COE and SLT
- Build analytical dashboards which reflect outputs of user interaction post event and produce reports when required
- Have sufficient experience in interpreting event site designs (or willing to learn unaided) and entering these into the system/map platform. May need the ability to liaise with clients to ensure correct format is received and workable. Most maps received require a degree of tidying up before they are put into the app to ensure users can navigate safely.
- Compare event site designs with information on the platform and use a variety of techniques to update such as updating open source mapping data or working with external CAD surveyors to ensure content is correct
Requirements
- Previous experience building and updating Apps would be an advantage
- Highly proactive and able to work on own initiative without direct supervision
- Strong IT Skills
- Quickly learn new systems and technology.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with an ability to operate in a busy environment and with multiple KPIs
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in written form at all levels of authority and presentation requirements

This is a full time permanent position – 37.5 hours with a salary of £25 – £30k DOE.
