IT is a busy department and technology plays a key part in enabling the Trust to deliver on its strategic objectives. Our vision is to equip the Trust with the technology we all need to do our jobs confidently. Working collaboratively with all areas of the Trust, we focus on delivering the Trust’s priority information services at pace, focusing on the needs of our people and supporters.

This role is offered on a 1 year fixed term contract or internal secondment basis.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.
What you'll be doing:In this rewarding role within IT Digital you will be involved in all elements of the system administration of our Digital platforms. It’s a big task promising plenty of variety and stimulating challenges along the way. You’ll form close working relationships with colleagues, third parties and internal stakeholders, offering support for applications and systems that have been developed by others.
We want to be providing the very best solutions in the most effective way while ensuring that we’re meeting our IT standards. As an enthusiastic problem solver, used to working in a production support environment, you’ll be ready to support and resolve technical issues, providing valuable input at every step of the project lifecycle to ensure that we’re supporting and producing innovative systems that we can be proud of.
- Experience of System Administration with complex customer facing / revenue generating applications
- An understanding of incident, problem and change management
- Experience of ‘self-starting’ managing and prioritising your own workload
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy (GDPR)
- A track record of teamwork and collaborative working
- Communications skills with effective stakeholder management
