The joint partnership is seeking a dynamic, organised and clear thinking professional to lead on the development and delivery of key elements relating to the safeguarding agenda.
Your next role
As Partnership Safeguarding Development Manager, you will:
- Ensure that the Partnership has an effective performance and quality assurance system which leads to good quality and safe services for children and vulnerable adults in Swindon
- Support the development and delivery of multi-agency safeguarding policies, processes and training programme
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and involvement becomes standardised and embedded within the work of the Partnership
The skills, knowledge and expertise we are looking for include:
- Ability to work strategically across the partnership to influence and change behaviour through effective relationship building
- A relevant professional qualification and a good understanding and knowledge of national policy and legislation relating to safeguarding
- Experience of working in and with services that support children, families, vulnerable adults and local communities
- Ability to conduct robust service and financial analysis to support decision making
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to engage a range of audiences and have experience of leading meetings and delivering training
