Building on our continued growth, we are looking at for teachers to expand our lessons.
We are looking for teachers who can teach on any of the following days:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays ranging from 1:30pm - 6:45pm
Sunday mornings 7:30am - 10:45am

Whether you’re newly-qualified or an experienced Swimming Teacher (STA award, Level 2), you’ll thrive on supporting children to achieve their potential in the water. Taking a pupil’s nature and needs into account, you’ll draw on your knowledge of practices, progression and teaching points – and apply it in the most effective way, all fully supported by team of aquatics experts. Naturally, there’ll be some admin work involved, but rest assured that most of your time will be spent doing what you do best – teaching children and young people to become stronger swimmers. And with our investment into building an even better swim school, there’s career progression on offer like never before.
You’ll need to be STA Award-level qualified, have knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme for teaching swimming skills, techniques and awards, and ideally, the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches. Knowledge of health, safety and other relevant legislation will be vital too, as will an understanding of Child Protection Policy. Plus of course, you’ll need to be approachable, with the friendly, patient nature needed to build the trust of children and parents, motivate pupils and encourage them with praise.

The welfare and safety of the children in our care is of the utmost importance to us at GLL. We follow safer recruitment procedures to ensure that our staff are checked and appropriate to work with children and young people. Therefore we’ll require you to complete an enhance DBS check before you will be allowed to start work.
All pay rates are subject to skills, experience, qualifications and location.
