Apple’s GPU Software team provides the graphics software foundation across all of Apple’s innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, and Apple Watch. Apple ships Metal API, our unified graphics and compute API that provides near direct access to our GPUs on all products. Key Qualifications

Description
We are seeking a results-oriented, upbeat and focused individual with a strong passion to learn and succeed. The GPU Pre-Silicon Driver Team is looking for a driver engineer to develop new features for Metal on Apple Silicon platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing features for the next generation GPUs for the Metal API and Language, bringing those features from initial concept, through development, leading to correctness testing with Silicon arrival. You will collaborate with teams across GPU Software including the Framework, Compiler and Performance teams, and more broadly with hardware design, verification, performance and architecture teams within our Silicon Engineering Group. Education & Experience
Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
- Experience with Metal, OpenGL, OpenCL, DirectX, CUDA or other GPU programming languages or other parallel programming languages is a plus.
