Purpose of the role
In your internship or working student position, you will support the team around the Head of Sustainability in the further development and implementation of our corporate strategy on sustainability and CSR. This includes analysis of national, European and international CSR and sustainability developments as well as support in deriving recommendations for action.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience, whilst complementing your academic studies in a global organisation with big sustainability goals.
How you'll spend your time
- Working with our sustainable operations lead on the decarbonisation of the international Zühlke operations
- You’ll support our internal and external communication around sustainability and corporate responsibility.
- Coordinate contributions to compliance programmes such as UN Global Compact CoP, CDP and Ecovadis.
- You’ll assist in communicating and promoting engagement in our PositiveChanges programme.
- Drive events and initiatives that take us further on our path towards a sustainable future.
The skills and experiences you’ll bring
- You are a student of economics, social sciences or humanities or a comparable subject with a focus on corporate responsibility, sustainability or corporate citizenship.
- Currently working towards a Masters in the above (desirable but not essential)
- You like to work conceptually, and your analytical, structured and independent way of working distinguishes you.
- You have an authentic passion for sustainability, decarbonisation, CSR and a real desire to make an impact.
- You enjoy working in a team and can successfully use your communication and coordination skills, combined with initiative, in a project team.
- Your very good English skills round off your profile.
