Sustainability student Placement
This is an exciting opportunity to join Saint Gobain Interior Solutions on a Sustainability placement year in one of our sites in and around the East Leake area. Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK. The Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions portfolio of brands brings our full range of solutions and knowledge together all under one roof, this includes British Gypsum, Celotex and Isover.

The Role:
At Saint Gobain Interior Solutions our Sustainability Student Placement will last for a minimum of 12 months.
Our placement is in the following area:
- Energy Sustainability
What will I be doing?
- Hands-on work on projects using a range of skills and knowledge gained
- Shadowing our experienced colleagues and being guided through tasks
- Supporting the department on key tasks and projects, working both independently and within teams with constant support, guidance, and mentorship from our specialised colleagues
- Working in a lab environment independently or under supervision

What will I need to be considered?
- Relevant degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry disciplines (minimum of 2 year of studies completed)
- Ideally you will have used Microsoft suite software
- Strong Team working skills
- A desire to learn, develop and grow
- The confidence and vision to look at, as well as challenge, existing ways of working
- The ability to Interpret, analyse and understand data
