As one of the stewards of this action plan, our global sustainability team is tasked with helping Diageo deliver Grain to Glass sustainability. Project Sky is a 2-3 year initiative the purpose of which is to:
  • Strengthen the internal controls on our ESG disclosures
  • Deliver improved accuracy & integrity of ESG data
  • Prepare for increased internal and external scrutiny, including readiness for future reasonable assurance
About Role:
Sitting within the global sustainability team, the purpose of this role is to programme manage the delivery of Project Sky objectives for supply KPIS including:
Lead of sprint team partnering with markets to build knowledge, capability, and implement process changes to meet control gaps. Leading market engagement, mapping out implementation plan, ensuring production of guidance, tools, training etc.
Development of on-going KPI reporting maintenance programmes, fully built into market resourcing plans, working in partnership with in-market teams
About you
To be successful in role you will have experience of leading major cross functional programmes and teams in a global context.
A strong influencer who employs interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders behind change.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, and an ability to develop and map robust processes and controls.
Experience with risk management, controls and assurance gained from financial, audit or risk management roles.
Experience working remotely with different cultures and diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience within sustainability and an understanding of FMCG
