What are we offering?
We are offering a 6-month Sustainability Internship which will give you a fantastic insight into the inner workings of our sustainability team and what the aviation industry can offer you in your career. Supported by our Head of Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility, you will obtain valuable experience from a fast paced environment, and work on some complex sustainability and environmental projects which will have a huge impact on the future of our business and our industry. You will learn more about the culture and values of Menzies Aviation and the importance of the sustainability functions impact when it comes to wider business decisions.
This position will sit within our sustainability team based in our Edinburgh Park location. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced aviation professionals across Menzies Aviation and be assigned an experienced mentor who will guide you through your exciting journey here at Menzies Aviation.

What we are looking for?
We are looking for an individual who wants to further their knowledge of the environmental impact of an aviation organisation and how we play our part in making our industry more sustainable. As this role will be supporting a global business, we are looking for individuals who are interested in complex environmental projects and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
If you are:
- Currently studying an environmental management or sustainability related degree
- Passionate about environmental subjects and sustainability
- Interested in data & systems analysis
- Driven to support our sustainability goals
- Confident with good interpersonal skills
- Committed and disciplined
- Keen to get involved in supporting our wider sustainability programme
- Looking for a future career within sustainability and potential further professional study post graduation
