The Three-Year Economist Training Program - what will I be doing?

You will be involved in advising companies, designing and implementing their sustainability strategies and you will support the delivery of consulting assignments as part of a multidiscipline team. You will also get involved in various initiatives and projects aimed at accelerating the growth of Goal7 and with this comes the unique opportunity to grow with the business.

Who are we looking for?

A recent graduate (graduated in the last two years) from an economics or financial related discipline. We are seeking candidates with a strong academic record from both school/ college and university, with a minimum 2:1 degree result (including predicted grade) and minimum of 5 x Scottish Highers at B grade and above (or equivalent). Preference will also be given to candidates who can demonstrate relevant work experience.

Your academic background is important but it is the individuals that make our team. We give priority to applicants who can demonstrate the following capabilities throughout their application:

  • Competent in using IT technology appropriate to role

Please note, successful candidates will be required to work from our offices in Aberdeenshire for the first six months of employment to support their effective onboarding and development. Candidates should ideally be based in Scotland following on from this for monthly visits to the office. Positions will start from September 2023.
