Job description:
A Consultant is immediately required for fast growing sustainability and corporate responsibility consultancy operating in the Telecoms / ICT / consumer electronics sector. The consultant will be responsible for managing projects to deliver sustainability services to clients primarily to Telecoms companies and their suppliers.

Role and responsibilities
The consultant will assist the Principal Consultant and Director by undertaking tasks such as:
· Developing consulting deliverables – delivering outputs for client engagements, such as reports, spreadsheet analysis, workshops and presentations
· Baseline assessment and gap analysis – using epi’s proprietary tool and methodology to conduct baseline assessments of client companies using client data, agreeing targets for improvement and developing forward improvement plans
· Carbon footprinting – supporting clients with data collection, measurement and reporting of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions data adhering to standards such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
· Programme management – managing groups of supplier companies as part of epi’s supplier development programs, including briefing and coordinating involved companies and reporting progress to client sponsors
· Assisting in epi business development – supporting the consulting Director as required with development of presentations, proposals and statements of work for new consulting projects
Candidate requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
· 2-4 years of recent business experience in an area such as consulting, project management, business strategy/insight, data analysis, risk management, product management, supply chain management, sourcing & procurement or environmental auditing
· Experience in ESG, carbon accounting or sustainability is beneficial
· Experience in Telecoms or ICT or Technology or Consumer Goods sector is beneficial
· Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college/university ideally in business, management, finance, social & environmental science, or similar fields of study
· Microsoft skills including Power Point and Excel required; advanced Excel skills desired
· Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills; attention to detail and ability to listen carefully, understand quickly and deliver precisely to requirements
· Interest and curiosity to learn technical aspects of sustainability such as Product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), carbon emissions measurement in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG), and regulatory developments such as the EU CSRD
· Ability to operate within a high-volume work environment while managing competing deadlines
· Ability to work proactively and independently on tasks and then take on review and feedback from senior consultants to iterate deliverables such as PowerPoint reports or Excel analysis documents quickly and to a high standard
· Ability to thrive in a client-facing working environment, delivering in a friendly, competent and professional way for clients while also managing internal company priorities in parallel with client demands
· Desire and enthusiasm to master Environmental, Social and Governance topics of sustainability and build a career in the rapidly growing field of corporate sustainability
Location, remuneration and working hours
This is a hybrid remote role with visits to office within the Midlands / M25 corridor region
Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate.
