We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and committed Support Worker to join our team in Wigan.
This role is to support a gentleman during a time of transition, preparing him to move from his family home into his own home.
The role is on a permanent and part time basis (15 hours a week)
A full clean driving license is essential for this role as well as flexibility as shifts and hours will be on a rota basis.
Experience with supporting challenging behaviours is also desirable.
The gentleman's support involves support out in the community doing activities he enjoys, such as swimming, walks and visits to local parks, socialising with friends, going to the cinema, days out, as well as supporting him with and teaching him life skills such as learning about money, cooking, learning about staying safe out in the community. The role also includes support with medication and some personal care.
