You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part time and full time roles.
It's an exciting time at Sense, we are now looking for Support Workers to join our service in Barnet London.
These are permanent positions, with a variety of contracts available from 20 to 37.5 hours per hour. Our shift patterns are generally - 7.30am to 14.30pm - 14.00pm to 21.30 pm, with alternate weekends off!
We are a small group of 4 flats in a cul de sac located in Barnet London. We support 16 people, I flat is single, the others are home to 4 - 6 people. The individuals we support are from 28 to 61 years old, most are fully mobile and are blind deaf with complex needs, with some behavior that challenges.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
Positive, with a can-do attitude.
Caring and empathetic.
Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).

This role in Barnet might include supporting people with:
Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.
Finances.
Medication and wellbeing.

Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
Their social life and nightlife.
