Job description

This is an exciting time to join our new supported living services in Burnham-On-Sea and surrounding areas, and we open this brand new service.

Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.

The roles include:

-Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
-Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
-Develop individuals’ life skills, vocational, educational and creative skills

Your working pattern will be varied over a seven-day rota, and would include some weekends and bank holidays.A full UK driving licence and access to transport would be preferable - You will work at all the supported living properties, but not be expected to travel between them during your shifts.

We need you to be: Resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a support worker takes passion, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check.
