4TH Care seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Dorothy House Short Break Children’s Residential Home in Sandwell, which specialises in caring for young people with Special Needs. This is a full-time, permanent position.
4TH Care is an Ofsted-registered organisation that specialises in caring for and supporting children and young people aged 6 to 19 who may have learning disabilities, problematic behaviours, Autism, or ADHD. Children and Young People come to us for Short-Break away from home, allowing their parents the time for a break or to spend time with their other children; being a parent of a Special Needs child is challenging.

Job Summary:
As Senior Support Worker for Dorothy House Short Break Respite Children’s Home, your duties will be:
Providing transport for the young people to access different activities
Helping the young people access their schools
Household duties
Paperwork
Days out (e.g. social events, shopping, cinema, swimming)
Contacts, visit, key work meeting and therapy sessions
Offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives

Essential Skills:
Recent experience working as a Children's Residential Support Worker in a Children's Home.
