SUPPORT WORKER (SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION)
Required for a new service in WAKEFIELD WF10 1 ( Castleford)
FULL TIME - 38.5 hours per week (sleep ins required)
£27,355.28 - £31,123.60 per annum inclusive of commission earnings
Base Salary £21,105.28 - £23,623.60 per annum additional commission earning £6,250.00 - £7,500.00 per annum based on 120 sleeps per year (10 sleeps per month)
Hourly rate £10.80 - £11.80 per hour (addition of £62.50 per sleep) averaging 10 sleeps per month.

We are looking for committed, motivated and resilient Support Workers who have a passion and ambition to support young people aged 16 to 19, who are transitioning from residential or foster care, present as homeless or are unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

As a Support Worker your role will be to work alongside young people, actively promoting independence and preparing them to transition into adulthood.
Working on a multiagency basis and in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure young people are given the correct wrap around support and are treated equally, as individuals, and without discrimination.
If you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are resilient and committed to the support worker role and most importantly you will conduct yourself as a positive role model for young people and colleagues we want to hear from you.
Experience & Qualifications
- Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care. (Desired)
- Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience. (Desired)
- Hold a valid Driving licence and access to own vehicle. (Desired)
Minimum age requirement of 21 years of age. (Required)
- DBS on Update System. (Desired)
- Willing & able to do Sleep In shifts (Required)
