Milltown Community is a small, independent and forward looking charity which has adapted, changed and is now thriving in its vision to enable neurodiverse adults and those with learning challenges to be the best they can be, to live as independently as possible, to achieve and to be enabled rather than disabled.
Our residential community of 7 amazing tenants are supported to live in two houses and is supplemented each day by workers and learners who are developing land based and artisan craft skills on our small holding in the village of Arbuthnott in rural South Aberdeenshire
Support Workers at Milltown Community support to our tenants at home using a personal outcomes based approach to enabling them to live as independently as possible, live their best possible lives and to be a valuable members of our local community.
We are looking for dedicated health & social care professionals who can see beyond barriers to see the joy that neurodiverse adults can bring to our lives. SSSC registration is a requirement for our work as is some experience within the health & social care/charity sector. However, we do offer an excellent learning and development programme which will enable those with limited experience to gain professional qualifications and career progression.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week
Salary: £10.50 per hour
