Care Home: Tyne Grange

Contract type: Full time and part time hours available
Shifts Available: Bank

We’re proud of the culture that we’ve created at Exemplar Health Care, which is underpinned by our vision, mission and values.About Tyne Grange:Tyne Grange is a specialist care home in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.Tyne Grange complex needs care home in Newcastle upon Tyne provides safe, person-centred care and rehabilitation for younger adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities, including those who display behaviours of concern.Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people with complex needs including prolonged disorders of consciousness and behaviours of concern, and those who require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes.We support people on their rehabilitation journey from hospital or living in a secure setting to community-based living. We also provide long term support for people living with degenerative or life-limiting illnesses.About the Role:Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!Your day-to-day duties will include:Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times
Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments
