Support Worker
Job type- Permanent/Full Time
Salary- £21,673 per annum
Hours- 35 (plus 5 hours paid lunch breaks)
Location- Nottingham
People coming out of prison and care leavers looking for somewhere to live often struggle through a system that puts significant barriers and obstacles in their way. At Nacro, we aim to change that. How?
By offering them the advice, support and practical solutions that give them the very best chance at a second chance. That includes providing intensive and low-level supported housing to help them return to independent living.
Who are we looking for :
We are searching for creative, vibrant, innovative, and highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to make a difference to the lives of Vulnerable adults in an exciting but challenging environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, a good understanding and experience of working with high risk offenders in a supported accommodation environment.
The role will involve planning and delivering support to a group of Adults with complex needs that has a direct impact on the lives of each person.
Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Offering advice, guidance, and practical support to Adults to help them work towards their goals in life.
-Offering advice with regards to having their own accommodation, training, education, employment
-Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with a wide range of people.
Car driver needed
