Support Worker, Liverpool

Up to 39 hours per week

£22,435 per annum , pro rata based on 39 hours per week

More about the role

We are looking for a resilient, friendly and flexible Support Worker to join a team working alongside people with autism encouraging them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. This role will include aspects of personal care. You will be required to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep in duties.

As a Support Worker you will promote positive health and well-being of the people that you support, enabling them to have a meaningful life and be involved in a range of activities chosen by the person supported including:

* General housekeeping and cooking

* Going for walks in all weathers

At Autism Initiatives we provide specialist services tailored to each individual which includes aspects of personal care. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion to making a difference to the lives of people with autism, as well as a positive attitude, is key to being successful in this role. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations.

Due to the needs of the service, a full driving licence is required.
