The Support Worker Role:
- Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care.
- Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
- Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
- Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.
- Complex care with Community Practitioners

The following training will be provided:
Tracheotomy
Peg Feed
T34 Syringe Driver
Tissue viability, Dressings, wounds and Pressure relief
Dysphagia
Enteral Administration
Stoma Care
Oral Suctioning
Catheter care
Blood sugar monitoring
Insulin administration
Venipuncture and cannulation
Monitoring of vital signs (BP, o2 levels etc)
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
Minimum of 5 years care experience
Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Car driver and have access to a vehicle.
