JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Swansea, Clydach (SA6)
SALARY: £9.90 to £10.40* per hour
SHIFT PATTERNS: 08:30-21:00PM, 12:00-23:00PM (Sleep till 07:00, work until 08:30) & 21:00-08:30AM
Candidates MUST be able to work 12-hour shifts.
Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking both full time (35+ hours per week) Support Workers to join our team in Mond Court – part time (24 hours per week) may be considered.
About Mond Court:
At Mond Court Apartments we support six people with Mental Health needs, who may also have Learning Disabilities or a dual diagnosis. We support individuals who may also have challenging behaviours and/or drug and alcohol problems.
We are looking for someone outgoing, enthusiastic and confident to join our team. You’ll be working in a challenging environment so must be able to follow instructions and make your own decisions when required to ensure the wellbeing of our clients.
Working as part of a team, you must be able to adapt, be a team player and flexible to the needs of the home. We are looking for a confident person who will be able to accompany and engage with our clients on various outdoor activities including Swimming, fishing, rock climbing and mountain walks.
Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training, however what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
