Job description
We are looking to recruit a support worker to work within the Children's Diabetes Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person who is able to assist the Multi- disciplinary team in ensuring that all children within the service receive the best possible care.
Good Communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
The successful post holder will be self-motivated and use their initiative where necessary. Some of the main duties are;
- provide education for children and their families alongside the MDT
- attend out - patients clinics and assist the MDT
- provide some clerical duties
- assist in arranging school visits
