Here at Ty Caredig we ensure that all our staff are cared for and management provide 24-7 advice and on-call systems for staff to call in emergencies/or for support.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

We are looking for staff to work in our new project in the Uplands, Swansea.

Full time (36hrs) and bank contracts are available, at £12 per hour.

The shift times are;

08.00-20.00-Day shift

20.00-08.00-Waking night shift

The role includes:

-Providing support to 16–24-year-olds whilst encouraging/promoting their independence.

-Liaising with social workers and other external professionals.

-Supporting young people and developing positive relationships with them.

-To support young people with general housekeeping, such as cooking, domestic tasks, laundry and shopping, acting as role models to promote life skills.

-Maintain good communication between all employees and management by completing required documentation and correct usage of handovers and meetings.

-To actively participate in training, supervision and staff development sessions, accepting and providing constructive feedback. To work effectively as part of a team and work independently on own initiative.

General Household and office-based tasks.
