The Role This role is based in Eastfields, a 24-bed registered Care Home for Adults from the age of 18 years and over in Glasgow which supports individuals with maintaining their rehabilitation skills and goals. Our service is spread over three 8 bedded bungalows as follows: Bluebell is our 8 bedded nursing bungalow providing continued nursing care. Hawthorn & Thistle has 12 studio flats and 4 bedrooms supporting individuals with non-nursing care needs. We will train you to provide personalised support to our adult residents. You will follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. The focus is developing independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising – the daily routine of regular life. Our full Multi-Disciplinary Team are on hand Monday to Friday and will support you in your new role. It is a really varied job, with all kinds of different activities to organise and participate in – both at Eastfields and in the local community: art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, swimming, college, employment and countless others. We also have our own indoor and outdoor gymnasiums. You’ll get huge job satisfaction from seeing the people you are supporting do more for themselves and live the life they want to live.
