We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and Mental Health issues. At Rehability UK, we are offering permanent positions with guaranteed hours and flexible shift patterns, as well as Bank Worker contracts.

We are looking for Support staff to join team in Our Gloucester based residential care home. The service is spacious, with lots of social areas for our 8 residents who have lived there for many years. People we support have Learning disabilities and Complex needs. Home has a huge garden for relaxing and various activities, which comes into its own in the summer. Lots of wildlife visits our garden, birds, squirrels, foxes, hedgehogs. Care home has friendly atmosphere and is easy to get to. Near to lots of amenities. We encourage people we support at the service to go out to community, cinema, theatre or wherever they wish to be. The aim is to support our clients to continue developing their key skill, being independent and active in making decisions while living in our home.
THE ROLE
This role include support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.
