Support Worker – Jesmond Area
Due to shift patterns, applicants must be able to work a minimum of 26+ hours per week
Salary £10.42 per hour

The role
We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties and individual tenancies.
You will be providing support to individuals in shared accommodation located in the Jesmond area. Each individual has a daytime occupation Monday to Friday and attends without the support from Real Life Options staff. They receive some 1:1 support during evenings and weekends, this can be flexible depending on the persons choice of activity. In the evening there is 2:1 shared support, which is typically from 3pm during the week and from 7am at the weekends, this support also includes sleep ins.
Skills/characteristics: A good communicator, patient, likes being outdoors, cooking/baking, music entertainment, bowling, cinema and walking.
Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.
An understanding of Autism would be an advantage.
An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
