The Role
Positive Care and Support are looking for a Support Worker to join us immediately to support our individuals. This is a rewarding role that will involve working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge.
The supported living services are in the West Durham area's.
We are looking for enthusiatic people to join our team as a support worker who have a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities to live positive lives within our communities. If this is you then we are very keen to hear from you. We are able to offer flexibility with employment contracts for the right candidates, making them adaptable to suit your personal circumstances.
No experience required as all mandatory training will be provided and you will be expected to complete a level 2/3 NVQ in Health and social care provided by Positive care and support.
What we are looking for:
- People who will provide a high standard of support to the individuals who may be autistic with LD and who has behaviours that may challenge
- People with a passion for supporting young people/adult to lead meaningful, fulfilled and happy lives
- People who can be confident in providing 2-1 or 1-1 support
- People who have a passion to progress within the health and social care sector
