We have exciting opportunities to join our friendly acute occupational therapy service.
You will work with minimal supervision to implement agreed occupational therapy plans as prescribed by the qualified occupational therapist, including ongoing assessment, evaluation, and management of patients. You will identify the need for changes in discussion with the qualified therapist or practitioner and will be supported to develop these skills and experience within a dedicated therapy team.

Having an awareness of the role of occupational therapy in the acute setting and clearly demonstrating this in your application is essential. You will be compassionate, have good communication and time management skills and work well within a team.
To attract the best of staff we offer flexibility of permanent and part-time working. We have a forward thinking, strong leadership team in place and occupational therapy and AHPs are well represented and respected across the service.
There will be a commitment to weekend working in the occupational therapy team at RIE as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern. We have strong network links via an excellent bus service and have a very reliable and comfortable free NHS shuttle coach to an easily accessible free Park and Ride car park.
Therapy Services actively support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities.
