We have a great opportunity for Support Workers to join our Independent Living function as we set up a new operational team. This is a great opportunity for people-focused individuals who are passionate about making a difference within their local community.
This role will be based at our Oasis House Scheme in Northampton, which is conveniently located next to the Town Centre and is well-connected to local transport routes.
As a Support Worker you will be a crucial part of the front-line team in our services. You will be providing support and advice to our customers and helping them on the path to living independently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide advice and support to vulnerable individuals facing homelessness.
- Provide support to customers around accessing health services and employment.
- Produce support plans and conduct regular meetings with customers to ensure they stay on track.
- Engage with homeless services and liaise with the Intensive-Housing Management team when necessary.
Our ideal candidate? You will be a customer-focused individual who is passionate about making a positive difference for vulnerable individuals. You will be compassionate with strong communication skills, allowing you to work effectively in a team environment. Former experience dealing with issues around homelessness is also preferable.
